I honestly couldn’t think of a better way to start the new year for the Fresh Round Spotlight other than with talking about the Wanna Play Getaway.

I decided two years ago to go on a black ski weekend trip and during my time there I met some of the men of the Timeless Brand who bring such fun experiences as Playdate Atlanta and more. They were talking about a group trip to Jamaica, Wanna Play Getaway.  At the time, I was on a group trip high and was like why not.

Of course, there were many people who said they would go with me but as usual that was not the case. So, knowing nobody, I still decided to go. Probably one of the best decisions I ever made.

Traveling alone can be quite scary but the organizers and even the people who went on the trip were fantastic. I even gained a few new friends.  It’s geared toward a more fun loving, mature crowd and has a lot of couples who enjoy coming. The staff made me feel like I got my money’s worth. All inclusive resort and great activities for us to not only connect but become a family. They’ve been planning these since 2009? How could this gem of a group trip not be talked about as so many of the others?

The coolest part a part the trip: the Payment Plan. When planning appropriately, you can have experiences beyond your imagination. The down payment is what people spend in two weeks going to a club. I would take Panama over the club anyday.

For 2016, the location is Panama. I missed Costa Rica in 2015, but that will never happen again. If you enjoy a good time, good people and exploring the world this is a great opportunity.
